Salary: 600,000 IQD – 700,000 IQD

Summery:

Project Manager position for young civil engineers eager to explore a new field or enhance their existing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise On-Site Staff: Oversee and manage the on-site team, ensuring that all staff members are performing their duties effectively and in accordance with project goals and safety standards.

  • Oversee Site Operations: Regularly inspect the site to ensure that work is progressing according to schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations. Identify and address any issues that may arise.

     

  • Ensure Compliance with Designs and Plans: Monitor all construction activities to ensure they are being carried out according to the approved designs, plans, and specifications. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain alignment with project objectives.

     

  • Act as Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between the company and the site, facilitating clear communication and ensuring that the project’s goals and requirements are fully understood and met by the on-site team.

     

  • Manage Site Details: Take responsibility for all aspects of site management, including coordinating logistics, scheduling, and handling any on-site challenges that may impact progress.

     

  • Support Staff Needs: Attend to the needs of the on-site staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources, materials, and support to perform their duties effectively. Address any concerns or issues they may have.

     

  • Procure Materials and Resources: Research and source materials, equipment, and labor as needed for the project, ensuring they are obtained at competitive prices and meet the required specifications.

     

  • Budget Management: Monitor the project budget, ensuring that spending is aligned with financial constraints and that cost-effective solutions are implemented where possible.

     

  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.

     

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project remains on track and within scope.

     

  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for upper management, detailing the status of the project, any issues encountered, and solutions implemented.

     

     

    Requirements:
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Arabic, with Kurdish language skills considered an advantage.

  • Experience: No prior experience required; open to fresh graduates and young professionals.

  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Personal Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation.

  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
